What we are doing...

This blog is set up for all of Brianne's friends, family, fans and well-wishers to show their support for her first official run up Pike's Peak in mid-July. Apparently, there was an unofficial run a few years back but we'll leave that for her to tell.

Brianne has always been a wonderful friend and has done a lot of favors for many of us over the years. This is a way for us to say "thank you" and also "you better kick ass up that mountain." She has already paid some of her expenses out of pocket and blown up some credit cards. As of right now, Brianne doesn't know about this and we are hoping to surprise her with it before she leaves around the 15th. This is very last minute but we hope that also adds to the urgency. Plus, those of us that know and love Brianne feel this a great way to handle it since she is the queen of doing things just in time :)

There is a Paypal donate button to the right of the blog. Feel free to click on it and donate any amount you can afford, even if it is only $5. But, for anyone fabulous enough to donate $20 or more we will have raffle items to give away. Each increment of $20 you donate will buy you a raffle ticket, giving you numerous chances to win the prizes. The raffle will be held on the 22nd of July after we all return from Colorado. You should be able to enter contact info on the Paypal site. I (Jenifer) will be handling the raffle. Kevin and Wes will not get a say so you know it will be fair. (Just kidding, guys! You know I love you...)

To start off with, I will be donating one of my unique belt buckles from my own business, Lucy Blue Studio, as a prize as well as a $125 membership to my new craft class business, The WonderCraft, that is launching in August. I'll do another post with all the information for the prizes and give more detail as more raffle items roll in. Feel free to contact me at jen@lucybluestudio.com if you'd like to donate something to the raffle. Just remember, we are working on a tight schedule so the sooner I hear from you the sooner we can post it and use it as an incentive for more donations!
